  Click the checkbox to make the Freeze button visible on the track headers. You can also select Show Freeze directly from Track Header Components in the. In the edit window, go to View > Configure Track Header. In the menu that pops up you can select to show the freeze track function as a button. You must first go to Logic's Preferences, select Advanced Tools and then tick off the Show Advanced Tools box.
